Our
#workhacks
A #workhack is a proven, simple, and innovative method to improve collaboration and work outcomes. Whether used individually, within a team, or across an entire organisation, a #workhack helps break unproductive habits and routines, offering fresh and engaging alternatives to traditional workflows.
When developing a #workhack, we draw inspiration from a variety of scientific insights, studies, and concepts, including positive psychology, behavioural economics, nudging, design thinking, agile methods, SCRUM, and user experience design. Alongside theory, we also focus on practice. Having advised numerous start-ups, agencies, and companies on collaboration, we’ve discovered a few key tools that can rapidly improve team performance. We've seen how some high-performing teams "hack" their own collaboration and continually enhance it.
The work with #workhacks is guided by four principles:
1. #workhacks disrupt workflows and break established routines. They encourage teams to take greater responsibility, improve efficiency, foster innovation, and build truly effective collaboration.
2. #workhacks are never imposed from above. Each team or department can choose to adopt changes themselves. Rather than provoking resistance, #workhacks make change appealing and enjoyable.
3. #workhacks are introduced as experiments and are quickly abandoned if they’re not useful. However, if they prove effective, they’re consistently continued.
4. #workhacks can be implemented quickly –without lengthy board approvals or extensive analysis of current processes. They are practical and intelligent at the same time.
